The wait is over, finally! Superstar Rajinikanth is back to amaze his fans with his much-anticipated film Kaala. The gangster film which has been set against the backdrop of Dharavi (in Mumbai) brings together Pa.Ranjith and Thalaivar again after Kabali which had hit the screens in 2016. While the film features Rajinikanth as the ‘king of Dharavi’, actor Nana Patekar plays a scholarly adversary. Nana as a politician who is clear about his mission is clearly at loggerheads with Rajini. Kaala also has Eashwari Rao, Huma Qureshi in key roles.
Rajinikanth isn't just a beloved matinee idol in India but an absolute phenomenon in the purest sense of the word. Born Shivaji Rao Gaekwad, ‘Thalaiva’ has over the years established himself as a synonym for greatness courtesy his stylish onscreen mannerisms, rich baritone, and of course charismatic personality. For many, he is a perennial source of inspiration.
