The battle for the Independence Day weekend box office just got more intense. While Akshay Kumar’s Gold and John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate were already scheduled to hit the screens during this weekend, a new film has also been announced for the same release date, August 15. And it’s not a small film.
The third installment of Dharmendra and his two sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol’s Yamla Pagla Deewana is going to be released on the same day. Titled Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, the film marks the return of the three Deols.
Main hoon Pagla, naam toh suna hoga ;) Triple dose of ENTERTAINMENT begins today with #YPDPhirSe! @aapkadharam @saregamaglobal @PenMovies @thedeol pic.twitter.com/wbxwT301Gy

The first film in the series was released in 2011 while the second part hit the screens in 2013.
The posters suggest that the three lead characters are going to get into their previous space. While Dharmendra and Bobby play con men, Sunny plays a righteous yet perennially angry person in the film.

At a press conference for his new film Race 3, Bobby talked about his professional relationship with father Dharmendra. He said, “My dad is the biggest example. Most awesome, talented, amazing actor, a legend. (He) was never given the best actor award, ever. So it doesn’t matter. For me, it’s the love and appreciation of fans and people around that makes me the best actor.”
