Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are in love and refuse to follow the time-honoured Bollywood practice of referring to it as “we are just good friends”. A day after Alia was spotted at a family dinner with Ranbir’s family, she has revealed that she is in love with Ranbir’s latest song from Sanjay Dutt biopic, Kar Har Maidan Fateh.
The song is an inspirational number from Sanju that stars Ranbir as Sanjay. Alia shared a screenshot of her mobile playing the song on an Instagram story and wrote ‘On repeat’ over it.
Confirming his relationship with Alia in a GQ interview, Ranbir had earlier said it has come with a “lot of excitement… being charming and romantic”.
“It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit,” he added.
When TV anchor Rajat Sharma asked Alia about Ranbir during her appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, she said, “Even if something is going on, I don’t want to accept.”
While Ranbir will soon be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju, Alia has Ranveer Singh-starrer Gully Boys lined up next. The duo have also begun working on their first film together, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra that also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
